When times are hard the people of Mid Norfolk pull together. From taking refugees into their homes or driving aid over to war torn regions of the Ukraine, the support is always there.

As I continue to follow developments around the situation at Norfolk and Suffolk Foundation Trust closely, I was pleased to join a call for all Norfolk and Suffolk MPs today – hosted by the Minister for Care and Mental Health – that allowed us to share our thoughts, as well as the feedback and concerns being expressed by so many of our constituents.

Having written to Post Office Ltd earlier this week to highlight local concerns following the news that the High Street branch is set to close later this month, I am pleased to report that I have now received assurances from Post Office Ltd that they are committed to opening a replacement branch as soon as possible.

The Queens Platinum Jubilee will be a great time for us all to celebrate her Majesty’s reign with family and friends, and it’s great to see Breckland Council will be supporting various events from a pool of £12,700 - many of which are going on in Mid Norfolk.
