The review sets out a new model for the NHS to make use of its it genetic and data leadership to get quicker access and discounted prices; which will enable patients with rare diseases gain to access innovative medicines. He calls on the PM to encourage the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence and NHS England to implement it speedily.
