The recent tragic fatal accident on a part of the A47 yet to be improved near Dereham brought attention once again to this road which has claimed too many lives.

That’s why I brought the Prime Minister to Dereham to announce the £300M for dualling.

But this tragedy highlights that the Highways Agency now need to prioritise this work to ensure it happens as soon as possible.
