Your Own Place aims to prevent youth homelessness for 16-25 year olds.

Your Own Place CIC is a community interest company that started life in 2013. We prevent youth homelessness by delivering independent living skills and employability training to young people who are about to make the transition to adulthood. Young people leaving care or without all the support of parents often make the move to independence much earlier than their peers and without support are at risk of losing their first tenancy.
Our courses for vulnerable young people run all over the county, including in Mid-Norfolk where we work with Breckland Council and in Dereham, Wymondham and Attleborough.

Rebecca, with a background of working with young people in London and Norfolk, is passionate about young people having choice, a voice and being treated fairly. 'Starting my own social enterprise has been the most exciting and daunting thing I have ever done. Whenever the going gets tough, there is always a young person who's optimism, resilience and sense of fun shines through and reminds me why we're doing this'.
