I met with Chief Constable of Norfolk Constabulary, Phil Gormley to receive an update on how our Norfolk police are dealing with cuts and crime.

I believe that it is important to keep up to date with my local constabulary so that I can find out what the forces are doing, what will affect my constituents and what I can do to help.

I was pleased to hear that as a result of strong leadership, a commitment to modernise and innovate working practices and good joint working in the new partnership with Suffolk, which has already saved over £20m – money can now be spent on the front line.

Our Norfolk Constabulary is something to be incredibly proud of, ranked one of the best forces in the country on a number of key criteria.
