Roads Minister, Robert Goodwill, comes to mid-Norfolk

The A47 is one of the most important arterial roads in East Anglia. The road is in poor condition and badly needs improvements and upgrades as collisions and delays occur far too often.

That’s why I, and all the local MP’s with the A47 Alliance, have long campaigned for improvements which we hope will transform the 105 miles of it into a national and international link. I co-ordinated a recent visit by the new Roads Minister, Robert Goodwill who drove the length of it from Lowestoft to Peterborough to see for himself the economic and road safety concerns that the A47 is causing.
