North Elmham and Brisley Primary School Visits

It was great to be back on my regular schedule of visits to local schools this past Friday – this time visiting two Church of England primary schools in North Elmham and Brisley.

I was delighted to meet new headteacher Kirstin Sutherland at North Elmham, who had a School Parliament Q and A session set up for me with some great questions on what an MP does in Parliament and Mid Norfolk. I was also able to see their outdoor learning area and see the children making ponds and huts, as well as developing valuable life skills.

Two lovely, proud, young students showed me around their school at Brisley – showing me the likes of the veg patch and the mud kitchen. I even had a quick run on their outdoor tyre course!

If YOU are a school in Mid Norfolk that would be interested in having me visit, do get in touch via george.freeman.mp@parliament.uk . I’d be delighted to come and speak with you all.
