Inspiring children with a love of science and reading through stories and workshops.

 

I set up my business to inspire children with a love of science and reading. I run ‘DNA Detective’ workshops where children/adults learn about DNA, extract DNA and solve a crime. I talk to children about the amazing opportunities a career in science can give them.

 

I use stories to explain scientific processes such as natural selection and evolution. I also perform multi-sensory stories to children with a scientific element contained in them and tailor make parties using my stories. I work in a variety of settings including schools, pre-schools, Children’s Centres, Scouts/Rainbows, youth groups, U3A and my own sessions.
