Youth unemployment and poor job prospects are a huge worry across rural areas like ours. That’s why I was delighted to visit the rapidly expanding Hethel Engineering Centre and Lotus Cars recently and see how their expanding businesses can offer local job opportunities.

Over the last four years, I have been passionate about backing Norfolk businesses. Having spent fifteen years starting businesses in our region before coming to Parliament, I am evangelical about the way businesses can create jobs and the spirit of enterprise, working with schools to help deliver the best training and opportunities for young people in our area.
