Hard work and dedication can really pay off over time. A few months ago, I was fortunate enough to bump into Ashton Fox – a local lad who played for Dereham Town FC. Then captain of England Schoolboys, he subsequently got snapped up and now plays for Peterborough United Under 23’s

I was delighted therefore to meet up with Ashley Bunn, the club chair, last week to catch up on how their star Ashton is doing and have a general chat about the club. The Magpies (as they are known locally) have a great facility on the edge of town and good facilities that can be hired out.
