We hear that the County Council are proposing to stop this vital school bus service in the next few months.

This is not acceptable, and I will fight for the constituents of Blenheim Grange to make sure they have access to the transport facilities they need.

The housing estate of Blenheim Grange in Carbrooke, just outside Watton has been badly let down enough already by a serious lack of facilities, including a school, which an estate of that size should have.

That's why, working hand in hand with the Carbrooke Parish Council, I have:

  • Launched a campaign to get play facilities and a proper community centre here on the estate

  • Set up a Steering Group to lobby the local council and work with the local NHS surgery, Sure Start, local churches, Police, and Housing Associations to get a Community Centre and facilities funded.

  • Brought the Editor of the local paper, the EDP, here to highlight this community's needs.

And that's why I believe it is wrong that the County Council cut the school bus and I'm fighting it.

Do you support my campaign to save your local school bus service? I'm fighting it and I need your help.- email me at george@georgefreeman.co.uk to tell me your support.

Click here to see the footpath proposed by Norfolk County Council to use after they have cut the service. The two mile route runs from the housing estate to Carbrooke Parish School and shows some very unsuitable sections.
