Having had a fifteen year career as an entrepreneur before becoming an MP, and now in my second stint as a Business Minister, I know first-hand just how important local Business is. It is the real engine of the national economy.
That’s why I always look forward to the Norfolk Chamber of Commerce’s annual MP event – this year rebranded as ‘The Big Debate’. Joining a number of fellow Norfolk MPs, as well as a vast array of excellent speakers, I was delighted to have the opportunity to speak with members of the local business community. I also had a slot on the ‘Growth and Innovation’ panel – particularly pertinent given the pandemic and the tireless efforts of many to evolve and adapt.
I look forward to continuing to support this vital and thriving community in the months and years to come, and to speaking at this incredible event again in years to come.
