I am pleased to hear that Breckland District Council’s Emerging Local Plan will be entering its final stages in the coming weeks.

As a major advocate for ‘Localism’, and with my continued efforts in Westminster to help strengthen the value of Local and Neighbourhood Plans, I welcome the fact that residents will now be able to examine Breckland’s draft Local Plan at a series of events being held over a seven week period – beginning on April 17th.

At these events, planning inspector Jonathan Manning will address issues raised during the pre-submission consultation earlier this year – including topics such as the environment, transport, infrastructure, housing site allocations, affordable housing and economic development.
