Having worked in business for over fifteen years before becoming Mid Norfolk’s MP, and having served as a Business Minister, I know just how important local businesses are to our national economy.

That's why I have always been a strong advocate for supporting local Business, and why I was delighted to speak at the inaugural Breckland Business Forum event this past Friday – along with Doug Field (Chairman of the New Anglia LEP), Cllr William Nunn (Leader of Breckland District Council) and Cllr Andrew Proctor (Leader of Norfolk County Council).

It’s absolutely vital that we work closely with local businesses and hear their views, and I look forward to attending future events and working with its members.
