Planning – Rocklands Update
I am delighted that, yesterday, Breckland Council’s Planning Committee refused permission for the application for 7 single storey dwellings and garages/carports on Mill Lane/Green Lane in Rockland All Saints.
As I have consistently argued, when new development is to be permitted in our rural towns and villages, it absolutely must be sustainable, and accompanied by the necessary infrastructure required to support both it, and the pre-existing community.
I remain committed to working with our local communities to oppose inappropriate and unsustainable developments, and to read again the letter that I wrote to the Planning Committee regarding this application, please see below.
