Our area is full of world-class businesses and opportunities – in engineering, science, energy, food as well as agriculture, wildlife, tourism, media and the arts. We have the chance to become one of the world-leading centres of research and innovation.

The Quadram Institute at the Norwich Research Park just outside Mid Norfolk is on target to open mid-2018, when it will house 300 scientists and 100 clinicians and will create one of Europe’s largest centres for food and health research.

The Quadram Institute will bring prosperity and opportunities to the region and that’s why I was delighted to take part in a “pouring out of the concrete” ceremony this month.
