The Mid Norfolk Railway holds special importance to so many from our part of Norfolk, and beyond.

That’s why I was delighted to hear after nearly half a century, the passenger service from Dereham to Hoe Crossing is now open, running a Diesel service twice a day.

This is excellent news for the Mid Norfolk Railway and shows how heritage lines like it can play key roles in supporting commercial services, while earning money that can then be reinvested into their own infrastructure and services. I look forward to watching the Mid Norfolk Railway continue to go from strength to strength.
