Covid has been among the greatest challenges that our country has faced over the past hundred years, and it has required a monumental effort from us all to protect the NHS and care system, and save lives – none more so than the effort made by our key workers.

That’s why, I am delighted to see the commemorative bench that has been installed by Wymondham Town Council to celebrate the contributions of key workers, while simultaneously commemorating those who sadly lost their lives due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

As we move ever closer to a more ‘normal’ way of life again, it is so important to remember these people. Rest assured, I will continue to support our local health and care workers as best I can – and I look forward to visiting Litcham GP surgery this coming Friday as part of that work.
