The Big Debate 2019

Having run a small business before becoming an MP, and having previously been a Business Minister, one of my central missions has always been supporting the hard-working entrepreneurs who really provide the lifeblood of our country’s economy.

It was, therefore, a privilege to speak to so many of our county's business community at the Norfolk Chamber of Commerce’s "The Big Debate 2019" event this past Friday (8 February 2019).

It was a great opportunity to engage with local businesses, both big and small, and to debate the key issues affecting businesses here in Norfolk, including being on the panel to discuss skills and education alongside Stuart Rimmer of East Coast College, Chloe Smith MP and Norman Lamb MP.

I very much look forward to following up on the issues discussed, and continuing to support the Norfolk Chamber of Commerce in the coming weeks and months ahead.
