Education

One of my central missions since becoming an MP in 2010 has been the improvement of education and skills provision in the East. That’s why I was delighted to see, in today’s EDP, new figures showing schools in our county are performing so well.

Out of 418 schools that have been inspected by Ofsted, 53 are rated outstanding and 297 are rated good. This marks a significant turnaround when compared to the figures from 2014.

Rest assured, I remain committed to supporting students and teachers in our area – and I look forward to seeing further progress in the months and years ahead.
