Planning - Great Ellingham

I have long argued that when new development is to be permitted in our rural towns and villages, it must be sustainable, and accompanied by the necessary infrastructure required to support both it, and the pre-existing community.

That’s why I have been continuing to work closely with the Parish Councils of Great Ellingham, Little Ellingham and Rocklands, as well as local councillors and developers to discuss the likely impact of any future development in the area, and to ensure that adequate highways infrastructure and educational facilities are in place.

This included a further meeting in Great Ellingham this past Friday, where I met with local councillors to discuss a range of issues, and I look forward to continuing to work with the three villages on these matters going forward.
