As part of my ongoing work to help communities in Mid Norfolk, I was invited to visit the Watton Hockey Club and meet with members to discuss various options that they are looking at to help fund the worn-out Astroturf pitch that is so desperately in need of replacing.

I have fond memories of my own children playing there and it would be such a shame that this gem of a club can’t get the funding they so truly deserve. Many members at the club would not have had the opportunity to play hockey without Watton having this key asset.

That is why I have offered to actively support any funding bids that the Club makes, and I will also support them as they look to raise plans with the local council.
