Queens Platinum Jubilee Events across Mid Norfolk

The Queens Platinum Jubilee will be a great time for us all to celebrate her Majesty’s reign with family and friends, and it’s great to see Breckland Council will be supporting various events from a pool of £12,700 - many of which are going on in Mid Norfolk.

That is why I am pleased to see a community picnic at Lyng and District Community Hall on June 2nd, a village fete and sports day at Bradenham Village Hall on June 3rd and a family fete day run by the North Pickenham Community Project on June 3rd.

There will also be a bring-your-own afternoon tea at Wells Cole Community Centre in Saham Toney and Bawdeswell Village Hall will host a community picnic on June 5th.

The Mid Norfolk based Caring Friends for Cancer will also host an afternoon tea on June 2nd. Having visited them recently, I know they are such a worthwhile cause.

With so much going on, I’m really looking forward to seeing everyone’s celebrations in the local press.
