The campaign to raise awareness of Brain Tumours and support those working hard to cure them is a cause very close to my own heart.

That’s why, following my most recent meeting with the team at Brain Tumour Research UK at the end of last month, I have written to the Minister for Life Sciences at the Department of Health and Social Care, Lord Kamall, about what more could be done to improve the allocation of already committed Government funds so that researchers on the frontline get the resources they need.

While great strides have been made in the fight against this awful disease in recent years, I am determined to do all I can to support Lord Kamall and his officials, as well as the likes of Brain Tumour Research UK, and will continue to speak up and raise awareness on this issue moving forward.
