When we think of our health, too often, as a society, we neglect to consider the importance of our teeth. Dental health is a crucial part of NHS services however and it is vital that EVERYONE can access the support they need.

That’s why, as part of my ongoing efforts to shine a light on the very real challenges facing the dental sector here in Norfolk and highlight the concerns of many local residents who struggle to access affordable dental care promptly when needed, I have written again to our local NHS leaders to ask what more can be done to alleviate pressures.

With other counties trialling a variety of measures in order to reduce their dental backlogs and provide much swifter emergency care, I am keen to find out what additional measures can be taken to boost support for frontline dental staff here in Norfolk.
