Wymondham Station Task Force

George Freeman at the Wymondham Station Task Force meeting
18th February 2019

With a proper plan for better mobility access and parking, Wymondham railway station can be a stunning gateway for tourists to this historic town, for companies and investors coming to the Norwich Research Park and for new residents in the 1800 new homes adjacent.

This past Friday I had a very good meeting of the Wymondham Station Task Force at South Norfolk District Council with Network Rail and Greater Anglia to push ahead plans to provide disabled access as Phase 1 of an exciting station hub and gateway plan.

I look forward to providing a further update for my constituents in the near future.
