Wymondham Market Meeting

8th May 2018

Markets are so often at the centre of community life, and the Wymondham Friday Markey is no different.

That’s why, having met with stallholders before Christmas and spoken with the Town Council, I have committed to supporting a local taskforce determined to breathe more life/reinvigorate the town market, by attracting more stalls and a greater variety of products.

The taskforce (consisting of town and district councillors, as well as stallholders and representatives of South Norfolk Council) will be meeting again this week to finalise a plan of action, and I look forward to teaming up with them again to bring their plan to fruition in the coming months.
