Watton Meeting

20th May 2019

Our area has a proud longstanding military connection and I have been fortunate to meet and support many veterans who have sacrificed so much for our country. We are all forever in their debt, as well as to those who made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our way of life.

I was privileged to meet with representatives of our armed forces in Watton this past Friday to discuss a number of important issues – including stopping the fiasco of liability prosecutions for our soldiers long after the events in which they served for us.

I look forward to following up on a number of actions and raising their specific points in the House in the coming weeks.

Rest assured, I will go on championing the role of our military and ensuring they always have the support and investment they need to continue leading the world.
