Our Breckland Lottery

12th April 2018

I am delighted that Breckland have become the first district council to launch a lottery that will see proceeds donated to good causes in the local community.

Ticket buyers will be able to choose one of a number of registered local charities or community groups to receive 50p of every £1 ticket they buy, with a further 10p of every £1 ticket then going into a general community funding pot, which Breckland will release as grants. The scheme is expected to raise £30,000 for good causes by the end of its first year.

With prizes of up to £25,000 on offer and the chance to support some of the fantastic local causes in our area, I would encourage everyone to get involved.
