Minister of State for Transport

29th July 2019

It is a huge privilege and honour to have been asked by the Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, to become the new Minister of State at the Department for Transport.

I am delighted to be back in Government as Minister of State with a new portfolio to drive UK Transport Tech and Innovation into the 21st Century as a catalyst for better connectivity for tackling the grievances of the ‘people and places left behind’, bolder and more innovative transport solutions and UK technology leadership.

I am fired up and looking forward to the challenges ahead.
