Lord-Lieutenant’s Farewell

8th July 2019

It was a privilege to attend the Lord-Lieutenant’s Farewell event at Gressenhall Workhouse and Museum last week.

Sir Richard Jewson has worked tirelessly for Norfolk since 2004, and has championed a great many unsung heroes and cherished causes. While his time as the Lord-Lieutenant has come to an end, I am certain that he will continue his efforts to support a whole range of worthy initiatives in our county.

I am also delighted that Lady Philippa Dannatt has been appointed as his successor. Having known Lady Dannatt for some time, I know that she will brilliant in the role  and I look forward to working with over the months and years to come.
