Coronavirus – Question to Chancellor

18th March 2020

Yesterday, the new Chancellor Rishi Sunak announced a bold, and welcome, £330bn Coronavirus support package to support businesses, individuals and the economy – following last week’s historic Budget announcements, and with more announcements likely in the coming days and weeks.

Now we must focus on ensuring that those who most need the financial support and are the backbone of our local, and national, economy can access it:

· Small and medium sized businesses

· The self-employed

· Pubs

· Farming

· Food processing

· Tourism
