I was incredibly moved to see Baroness Jowell’s openness, courage, humour, soul & determination to make her suffering a catalyst for progress in Brain Cancer research. This was an inspiring reflection of the same spirit of millions of patients, some of which I had the pleasure to meet during my former role as Minister for Life Sciences.
