Yesterday, I attended a meeting with my fellow MPs in the East to hear from the East of England Ambulance Service Trust about their “turnaround plan” which is aimed at tackling the issues raised in the recent whistleblower accusations.

It was an encouraging meeting after a shocking few months. However, there is still a lot more to do to make sure that the best practice being developed elsewhere, in places like Hetfordshire, is being implemented here in Norfolk and the East.

Rest assured, I shall continue to monitor developments closely, and I am committed to working with my Parliamentary colleagues from the East, on all sides of the House, to help drive up standards in this area.
