Since becoming MP for Mid Norfolk back in 2010, I have worked with local community groups and councillors to promote a more local and organic model of development – one that make sure everyone’s voice is always heard.
That is why I was pleased to catch up with Carolyn and Mike from the aboutDereham Partnership this past Friday to learn more about their work to champion good causes in Dereham, especially as we (and others in the town, such as the Town Council, local district and county councillors, businesses, community groups etc) look to help create a bigger vision for the town.
The aboutDereham Partnership consists currently of dedicated volunteers who put energy and commitment into the overall aim of improving the image of Dereham.
I look forward to working with the Partnership in the coming months and years ahead.
