Too often patients have to repeat their diagnosis, condition or treatment history at every stage of their journey from the Doctor to Hospital and later on to Care.

That’s why I was delighted to be asked to visit Litcham Surgery to have an update on their system (Patient Pathway) which has seen Dr Julian Brown and his team reduce hospitalisation by 50% - particularly through their ground-breaking diagnosis system for diabetes (they really are doing some of the best work in the country).

Widely respected locally and with a brilliant spirit and sense of pride, it was a pleasure to visit the team – and I look forward to supporting them as best I can in the weeks and months ahead.
