That’s why groups like Caring Friends for Cancer in Mid Norfolk are so important. While our world class British Life Science industry strives forward in search of a cure, groups like Caring Friends work tireless to fundraise for, and support, those unfortunate enough to get cancer – as well as their families.

A registered charity, Caring Friends was set up by a group of friends back in 2014. Not only do they improve the lives of their members through weekly and monthly social gatherings, they also provide mobility equipment, telephone befriending, home visits and a car service – where those who need help getting to appointments can get a lift from one of the group’s volunteers. Speaking to between 85 and 90 clients each month, the team are making a massive difference!
