The engagement of our youngsters in politics is incredibly important, especially at a time when we are talking so much about the future of our country.

I was, therefore, delighted to visit Wymondham High Academy this past Friday – to speak with Sixth Form Politics students.

After speaking a bit about my role as their MP, I answered questions on a whole range of topics, including Brexit, the political system and political parties. I was impressed by the pupils’ genuine interest in politics and was tested by their interesting questions.
