We all cherish our emergency services, and the outstanding work done by their many dedicated staff every single day. That’s why I continue to monitor progress at the East of England Ambulance Service Trust – to ensure that my constituents can expect the best possible care and assistance.

This past Friday, I was delighted to visit the Trust’s depot at Barton Mills – where I spoke to crew staff and viewed the great new equipment being used by them on the frontline. I also met with the new Interim Chief Executive, Dorothy Hosein, and their board of non-executive directors to discuss how the Trust has changed over the past twelve months, and to hear about their preparations for another busy winter period.

Rest assured, I shall continue to follow developments at the Trust closely – and I look forward to visiting their staff again in the not too distant future.
