Wymondham Friday Market

As I have regularly reported, following conversations with a number of stallholders before Christmas, I have been working with a Taskforce involving Wymondham Town Council and South Norfolk Council to explore how best to attract new stallholders and increase footfall at Wymondham Friday Market.

It was great, therefore, to pop by the Friday Market this past week to enjoy a pasty and see how things have been progressing in recent weeks – and I was pleased to hear from many of the stallholders that I spoke to last year about how more stalls have indeed been convinced to come along.

These stallholders were also pleased to hear that the Taskforce are continuing to explore ways to better advertise the Friday Market – and were particularly excited by the idea of better permanent signage around the town.

I look forward to continuing my work with the Taskforce going forward, and to catching up with stallholders again in the next few weeks.
