Planning - Update

As I have consistently stated since I became an MP back in 2010, new development must only be given permission if it is accompanied by the necessary infrastructure required to ensure that it will be sustainable in the long term.

That’s why I share the Town Council’s concern (and the concern, I know, of many of my constituents) about further large scale developments being permitted in Dereham – given the already awful traffic congestion affecting parts of the town. This is a significant problem and it must be managed and remedied properly as part of a broader Dereham Town Plan.
