Unlocking the potential of Mid Norfolk

If we are to unlock the potential of Mid Norfolk, we need private businesses and entrepreneurs to locate in our area and provide jobs for local people.
This will require better transport in our area, affordable housing for workers, strong communities for people to live in, strong links with our local universities, an educated workforce to help these businesses and quick broadband to open up our businesses to the world’s markets.
For three years I have been campaigning for these through The Norfolk Way and I focused my maiden speech on the potential of Mid Norfolk.
This year’s EDP Business Guide listed the top 75 businesses in Mid Norfolk, including 5 with strong links to Mid Norfolk. I wanted to champion these businesses (and others in Mid Norfolk) as the major drivers of economic growth in our region.
