Please help our rural broadband campaign

24th August 2010

Improving rural broadband is essential for Norfolk’s future development.

Many villages in Norfolk receive poor or non-existent internet access and we need to look at all the ways we can improve our service.

The East of England Development Agency is currently running a campaign to show the level of interest in rural broadband. I’d like to add my voice to that of Shaping Norfolk’s Future, who have called for more people in Norfolk to sign up before next week’s deadline (we currently have 1,500 people less than Suffolk).

Please take a couple of minutes to sign up to the scheme and show the broadband service providers the demand for a better service in Norfolk.

To sign up, all you need to do is visit this website (http://www.erebusonline.org.uk/) and fill out the form.

You can also join our Facebook group and invite your friends to sign up as well. The more people involved we can get involved, the higher probability of a better service.

With your help, our homes and businesses could be a step closer to having proper broadband.
