George sponsors new Bill in Parliament
8th February 2012
Yesterday George lent his support to Suffolk MP, Matthew Hancock, to ensure a level playing field for onshore and offshore bookmakers to stop the collapse of income for Horseracing. As the son of former Grand National winning Jockey, Arthur Freeman, George understands firsthand the crucial role that racing plays in the rural economy. It welcome sight to see such high levels of support for the Bill in the Chamber and a positive step in protecting this important industry and part of our heritage.
