George Freeman delivers keynote address at Syrinix Innovation Conference in Norfolk
21st June 2012
Last week I had the honour of delivering the keynote address at Syrinix’s Innovation Conference at Hethel Engineering Centre in Norfolk. Syrinix is a truly innovative example of how smart technology in this economic climate can lead to new revenue streams.
Syrinix specialises in developing water infrastructure monitoring technology so that asset operators are able to make real time decisions based on real time information rather than assumptions. Syrinix’s TrunkMinder service utilises a combination of sensors permanently attached to pipelines so that operators are able to take robust mitigation measures on the risks presented by leaks and other issues.
Syrinix is based in a custom-built and world class hub for specialist engineering and technology, exemplifying the very best that Norfolk has to offer. At a time of recession, the vital role of small companies working together to generate new ideas and ways of working is critical to regional and national growth. Congratulations to Syrinix on its success.
